Aridité Prospère is a Nigérien NGO based in Zinder. It works amongst other things with the dissemination of solar cooking techniques.
The organisation has trained carpenters in Niamey and Zinder in the production of Dierkx model solar box cookers.
It has also developed other cookers and dryers for larger-scale food processing.
Aridité Prospère partners with Tahoua Import, Solar Cooker Workgroup Sliedrecht NL and the CNES (Centre National de l'Énergie Solaire) on its solar cooking initiatives.
