The BIOGRI solar cooker is manufactured in Italy by Biogri and is designed to roast a skewer of food (kebab). The grill is capable of reaching a maximum temperature at its focal axis (skewer) of 230–240 °C (446–464 °F). It is constructed of wood and anodized aluminum and, with its lockable tripod, is easily transportable. The grill is manually adjusted to track the sun; a viewfinder for optimal alignment is built-in. The grill includes a catch-tray for oil and drippings and can easily accommodate a battery-driven motor for automatic rotisserie.
