File:Barisot845.jpg

Barisot 845, total reflector surface of 0.845 m2. It is a simple, quick and cheap way to build a cooker with printing plates.

The Barisot collapsible solar cooker is made from recycled material except the tape for joining the printing plates and some hook and loop fastener.

Main differences between Barisot 1250 and 845:

  • Barisot 1250 has a bigger reflector surface but is smaller when folded, has a self-supporting structure and is therefore more stable in windy conditions.
  • The sidewalls of Barisot 1250 can be straight or folded at different angles. This allows a certain adaptation to the latitude and season.
  • Barisot 845 is very simple to build.

In both types several pots can be stacked.
