The Developmental Association for Renewable Energies (DARE) is a NGO co-founded by Engineer Yahaya Ahmed. They are located in Kaduna, Kaduna State, Nigeria.

"D.A.R.E. aims at making use of our abundant solar energy by transforming it into other forms of energy, through the use of latest appropriate technology. This is done, in collaboration with our various partners worldwide, but particularly with LHL of Germany, by manufacturing different products that use solar energy as their primary source of energy. From solar off-grid, independent electricity supply to solar telephone chargers, solar pegs, to home appliances like solar cookers, solar dryers and solar water heating systems, etc."
