The ETE ETMATE Solar Oven is manufactured in Shanghai, China by the Shanghai Sintang Industrial Co., Ltd.. It is their version of a portable evacuated tube solar cooker.
The weight of the cooker is listed at 5.1 kg (11.2 lbs), and the oven volume is 4.5 liters (1.2 gal.). The cooking chamber has an inside diameter of 10.2 cm (4 in).
The manufacturer claims it is able to cook a meal in as little as 15 minutes, reaching temperatures up to 288 °C (550 °F) in full sunlight. The updated solar cooker is effective at capturing ultraviolet light and holding its heat. If you can see a defined shadow, you can cook! They add that it incorporates a 304 food grade stainless steel cooking tray, which is easy to clean.
