The Eco-Impact Hub CBO organization is an evolution of the group Ecomandate. They have been working with Solar Cookers International on the expansion of solar cooking efforts at the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya.

Eco-Impact Hub CBO does solar cooker assembly, trainings, public demos and distribution. They tailor solar cookers according to the needs of beneficiaries, and conduct advocacy and sensitization of populations on clean energy solutions to enhance environmental conservation and boost climate change mitigation.

They have over 300 ULOG solar box ovens in use at the Kakuma Refugee Camp. The impact of this initiative is tangible evidenced by testimonials of beneficiaries who are now able to cook food using clean energy without worrying about cost of fuels
