Integrated Solar Cooking Kenya is a network of vendors and entrepreneurs promoting Integrated Solar Cooking in Kenya. Their goal is to have as many people as possible discover the benefits of integrated solar cooking through the network, which is able to provide affordable and sustainable solar cooking solutions to communities throughout Kenya. Employing these cooking techniques can help these communities improve their health, environment, and economic well-being.
Integrated solar cooking (ISC) can improve both health and economy for families that use firewood, charcoal, kerosene or gas for cooking. A transition to ISC will reduce deforestation and also reduce carbon emission and thus reduce global warming.
