The Lytefire Solar Community cooker tested in Finland in 2015. And below, cooking in Kakuma, Kenya, in 2022.

The Lytefire Solar Community Cooker is a solar array cooker design designed by Lytefire. According to the designers, the lightweight commercial class solar concentrator design is to be built locally to lower cost and increase autonomy. It is possible to purchase the plans for a DIY project. Since a few years, the device is also produced industrially for humanitarian projects.
This community cooker can cook:
- 10 kg of rice in 1 hour 5 minutes (50 liter pots)
- Boil 15 liters of water takes 30 minutes
