- September 2014: Kitchen appliances of solar cooking households were instrumented to measure real-time energy savings. Portable loggers and monitoring techniques commonly used in energy auditing and commissioning in the U.S. were adapted to measuring energy consumption of residential kitchens. During this pilot study three solar cooking households were instrumented for two weeks with daily records of cooking activities maintained by participants.

- October 2012 - April 2013: Natalia developed and conducted the USA Solar Survey, which began in the last quarter of 2012. The objective of this study is to develop a set of protocols to measure energy savings and dollar savings attributable to the use of solar cookers in USA residential households.
