On behalf of a very good solar cook who I know, Beyond Rice or Kicking It Up a Notch is her very good compilation of how to embellish ones solar (and traditional) cooking. Her hand-out was included as part of a solar cooking class given during the Solar Festival in Sacramento, July 2014. It covers many types of foods including grains, vegetables, dry beans, meat and fish, and desserts. This excerpt for potato salad is typical of the two pages of entries:
