Steve Zulu with a large solar box cooker
Solar Cooking Zambia was setup by Steve Zulu in 2016. It's been a great journey full of challenges and fulfillment. We have managed to carry out projects and outreach to get the people solar cooking.
Based in sunny Livingstone, home to the mosi o Tunya falls, we have hosted solar cooking events at schools, markets and started solar cooking camps over weekends. We hope to be part of the larger group of solar cookers, the world over. Our newest project is a retro parabolic cooker, using discarded satellite dishes.
