The SunPower Co-op is located in Tétouan, Morocco, and is focussed on empowering local women through solar cooking and solar food processing. The women-managed cooperative teaches solar cooker construction, solar cooking and food drying techniques, and how to recognize and establish related businesses. The co-op was co-founded and is now managed by Latifa Seroukh, a Moroccan national who works at the Abdelmalek Essaâdi University in Tétouan.

- NEW: September 2025: Update on products and statistics - Sun Power Cooperative has experienced steady growth, by offering solar cooking products and trainings for rural women in Morocco. As of 2025, they have trained over 80 rural women, recycled photovoltaic panels, and held over 200 training sessions. They offer solar thermal cookers and food dryers for sale on their website.
