The Sunspot is a small box oven sold as a survival kit. Its reflective surfaces concentrate solar radiation into a central chamber. The oven folds into a box and comes with a manual. It should be placed upon a rock or piece of wood, whatever is available. This oven has a small capacity and it suitable for cooking small quantities of food for one person. Most often used as an educational tool, it serves a good start to solar cooking or as an addition to existing solar cookers. The cooker can reach above 150 °C (302 °F) and 175 °C (347 °F) when cooking small amounts of food
